Casper the friendly ghost dates back to the late 1930's. Casper was created by two men, namely Joe Oriolo and Seymour Reit. Reit and Oriolo created the character for a childrens book. However it wasn't until 1945 when Paramount has bought the Casper rights and released a Casper cartoon that the character really came to life. So for those of you not in the know, who is Casper? Casper is the ghost of a deceased little boy called Casper McFadden. He doesn't aim to be threatening or menacing as he is after all a friendly ghost. Naturally, upon first meeting him people are usually scared anyway. The latest incarnation of Casper was in 1995 when a feature film was released simply called Casper. The plot for this movie goes something like this... Casper's home which he inhabited both alive and now dead is bought by a rich spoilt woman named Carrigan Crittenden. Carrigan discovers via an encryption that there is treasure hidden somewhere within the property. As Carrigan is greedy, she is highly motivated to find this treasure but her plans are interrupted as she discovers the ghost of Casper and his three ghost brothers (who unlike Casper are not very friendly). Initially she is scared but still undeterred from her mission she decides to hire a therapist who can communicate with the dead. The therapist who is called Harvey fell into this line of work a after the wife and the mother of his teenage daughter Kat died. Harvey strikes up a firm friendship with Casper but they are not as close as Casper and his daughter Kat become, in fact Casper develops a crush on Kat. The duo embark on a number of fun and poignant adventures together which is all I can say without revealing any spoilers! 

It is this version of the films which has spawned Casper's Mystery Mirror Slots. In fact the slots game has stayed very true to the film in the respect that the animation of the characters is identical. The reels feature the cutie that is Casper along with his far from cute siblings. The game features five reels and forty paylines. As a horror fan this is probably my favourite music from any slots game I have played, its eerie but fun and left me wanting more.
