Blackjack is also known as the card game 21 or pontoon. The aim of Blackjack is to reach a hand of 21 or as near to 21 as you possibly can without going over 21. Going over 21 is also known as going bust, in Blackjack your only opponent is the dealer!
In Blackjack all you need learn are the card values which couldnt be simpler. All cards from 2 through to 10 are worth their face value, e.g. 3 is worth 3 and 7 is worth 7. Jack, King and Queen are all worth 10 each. The ace’s value is 11 unless such a value would make the player bust, in that case it is worth 1. So simpler let the dealer deal your cards and try to get to 21! You can get an ace and a 10 then you have got 21! Its your lucky day unless the dealer also hits a 21 then nobody wins. If you get a 3 and a 4 I would suggest you request the dealer to hit you. Hit you is the term for you to request him to deal you another card. You can then carry on requesting cards aka hitting until you are near or you reach your target 21 but remember dont risk going bust!
Also remember all you have to do is beat the dealer, there is no reason why all the other players on the Blackjack table cant win with you!
