How to play Craps

Craps looks like an incredibly complicated games but appearances can be deceptive. Craps is essentially a dice game. The player otherwise known as the shooter rolls the dice and everyone else around the craps table bets on the outcome. Therefore no one is in direct competition with each other.

The game starts with each player placing a bet. Bets can be places until the dealer declares 'no more bets.' The shooters roll of the dice is referred to as the 'come out' roll. After this occurs the outcome can be one of three things depending on what was rolled. On a: · 2, 3 or 12 – Craps (Pass line bets lose – Don’t Pass bets win) · 7 or 11 – “Natural” (Pass line bets win – Don’t Pass bets lose) · Any other number – Establishes a point In order to become a shooter a player must place the minimum bet at either the 'pass line' or the 'no pass' line. The dice rotate around the table for those that wish to become the shooter. When the point is established, the shooter keeps rolling until he rolls the point number again or rolls a seven. There are approximately 40 types of craps bets that can be made during a roll. You can bet pass or no pass, single numbers, come and don’t come bets and proposition bets.

The easiest way to learn craps is to practice. Luckily the online casinos on our site have the play for fun option as well as play for real money. Therefore you can practice until you are familiar enough for the game and feel comfortable enough to play for real.

Good luck!
